Deeside Netball Club – Temporary Training Information (Updated 13/10/20)
Welcome to Deeside Netball Club!
Deeside Netball Club is one of the oldest and largest netball clubs in North-East Wales. With 24 teams from the age of 8 upwards, our membership numbers 175+.
The club is affiliated to both The Welsh Netball and England Netball governing bodies to give players as many opportunities as possible to enhance their playing abilities.
Leagues
Our Adult teams play in the North East Wales Netball League (NEWNL), Cheshire Elite League & North West Regional league.
Our Juniors play in the Deeside Junior League, Greater Manchester League (GMJCNL), and many of our girls are playing in the Flintshire Hub, North East Schools squads, and Welsh Performance Centres.
Our Temporary Home
Whilst Deeside Leisure Centre is being used as a Covid Hospital Adults and U15’s are training at Argoed High School, Bryn Road, Mold, CH7 6RY.
Minis – U14 are training at Deeside College, Kelsterton Road, Connahs Quay, Deeside, CH5 4BR.

Club objectives
As a Club, we are always trying to achieve a high profile so that young players in the area have role models, a hobby, and a sport, that they can enjoy for a lifetime. We are a fully inclusive club and welcome players of all abilities.

Club Committee
We have a superb committee who work extremely hard to maintain club standards and ensure our members enjoy their netball experience. For details visit the club website – About us.
Volunteers & Child Protection
We have adopted Child Protection procedures that will ensure all necessary steps are taken to promote a safe environment for all children and young people involved in sport. We have a legal obligation to report any suspicion of child abuse.
Disclosure checks
We do not knowingly appoint a person who is banned from working with children as we understand that we will be committing a criminal offence. Children’s Act 1999.
Coaches
All coaches are fully qualified to UKCC level one or two– we even have an Ex-Welsh International Coach!
