Wendy White BEM
Tribute to Wendy White MBE; Honorary Life Member and President of Welsh Netball
Deeside Netball Club wishes to pay tribute to Wendy White who sadly passed away on the evening of August 15th 2016.
Wendy was a dedicated member of the world wide netball fraternity, but with her heart and mind firmly with Wales and Welsh Netball.
Many people will have immeasurable memories of her coaching, umpiring, officials and volunteering but those who were close to her will know her as a very private person who loved the sport of netball and its variances, some she liked and some not so much but nevertheless– it was the greatest part of her life where she found many friendships and lifelong companions.
It is with heartfelt sadness that her life’s journey has come to an end but not without making her mark on so many people; so we say goodbye and farewell to one of Wales’s most dependable, hard working and loyal supporter.
We will miss you Wendy. RIP.
